MEET TOM: Handyman, Exteriors Specialist and Project Advocate

Tom Geissler did the original build-out of MOVE Studios, laying the floor himself, and creating the concept that everything MOVES, which led him to re-engineering the cool divider between the studios and creating the many moveable doors throughout the space (and eventually the Tweener Bars!).

Handyman: 

He has amazing skills as a patent-holding carpenter and can fix just about anything, except he'll defer to others for drywall and painting. Minor plumbing and electrical work are no problem and if it’s too big a challenge for him, he’ll bring someone in that can handle it properly. He is excellent at assessing a situation and figuring out how to repair, replace or reconfigure just about anything. He's fast and reliable, and easy to work with.

Exteriors: 

Windows, doors, siding and roofing are also well within scope, as he has experience in this industry, can evaluate your needs in this area, and is connected with highly experienced and reputable contractors that handle this sort of work. 

 

Project Advocate: 

From his previous work running his own high-end, residential remodeling company, his many years as a project manager for commercial contractors, and his experience doing his own home repairs, he has great skills at evaluating bids.
